Hi, my name is Josip. I play drums most of my life. From the very beginning sound played an important role for me, but I never seemed to be satisfied with the sound of my drum, mass produced drum sets. That is the main reason why I started my own drum company.
It is of a high importance for a drummer to find the sound that suits him best, because it is one of the main factors that defines him as a musician. “Sara drums” is a small drum company dedicated to helping drummers find their individuality with drums that produce sounds unique to their requests and needs.
Why the name "Sara"? The "culprit" behind the idea is a musician, songwriter and designer named Branko Bernardić. His proposal was to name the company after my older daughter and he is also responsible for the phenomenal graphical and visual solution of the logo.
